Dr. Bryan Brown knows that you have many choices for your eye care needs in the Dothan area. He strives to provide the best of care to his patients. He is committed  to providing that care through building relationships between his staff and the patients that entrust them with their eye care needs.
Dr. Brown’s Christian faith and his family are the most important parts of his life. He views his profession as an avenue to serve and help others in our community and in the world.
Both Dr. Brown and his wife, Donna, were born and raised in Arkansas. They met each other in church. The early years of their marriage saw them preparing for and spending time in overseas missions. After their time on the mission field, they moved to Memphis where Dr. Brown graduated from Southern College of Optometry with honors.
As a college student, Dr. Brown served as a Cavalry Scout and Tank Commander in the Army National Guard. After graduation from Optometry school, Dr. Brown returned to his military roots as Division Optometrist for the First Cavalry Division at Fort Hood, Texas. During that assignment, he graduated from the Air Force’s prestigious Aeromedical “Top Eye” Optometry Course.
His military aviation experience is what brought him and his family to the Wiregrass. As Chief of the Optometry Clinic at Fort Rucker’s Lyster Hospital, Dr. Brown completed and instructed for the Army Flight Surgeon’s Course. Though he left active duty after that assignment, now Lt. Col. Brown, has continued to be active in the Army Reserve. He was even mobilized for a year in support of our Nation’s war on terror.
Dr. and Mrs. Brown are the proud parents of five children. They attend Wiregrass Church in Dothan.
Dr. Brown and his family have lived in the Wiregrass area since 1997. During that time, patients from Dothan, Daleville, Enterprise, Opp, Andalusia, Fort Rucker, and Geneva in Alabama, to locations throughout the Florida panhandle and southwest Georgia, have come to trust Dr. Brown with their eye health.
